Keeping Northlands Green

Northlands recognizes the imprint that music festivals have on our environment and the importance of green initiatives to reduce that impact.

We are 100% committed to sustainability and to lessening our carbon footprint every year through the refinement of current initiatives and the addition of new ones. Our ultimate goal is to become a carbon neutral event, and we’re hoping all you Northlanders support us in our mission to get there! Last year, as a result of our partnership with local company Elm City Compost Initiative (ECCI) and with the help of our patrons, we were able to divert over 2 tons of compost and 3 tons of aluminum from landfill. Please check out our FAQs for tips on how you can contribute and check back here often for updates on our greening efforts.
